Job Description

Bailey Nurseries, Inc., a century-strong leader in horticulture, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support our Agriculture operations within the Human Resources & Talent Management department. In this strategic role, you will partner with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, driving workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development. You will provide expert guidance on employee relations, change management, and HR policy, while championing our culture of teamwork, respect, and passion for the natural world. This position offers the opportunity to shape HR initiatives that support innovation and sustainability across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as strategic HR partner to leaders in Agriculture operations, aligning people strategies with business goals
  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession initiatives for key roles
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and corrective action
  • Coach leaders on change management, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
  • Analyze HR metrics to recommend data-driven improvements in retention, development, and staffing
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies; update and communicate HR practices
  • Partner with Talent Management to design and implement learning and development programs
  • Support compensation and benefits planning, merit cycles, and internal equity reviews
  • Champion Bailey Nurseries' culture of teamwork, respect, and passion for the natural world
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business transformation and continuous improvement
