Job Description

A top law firm is seeking an HR Systems Administrator to join its HR Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR Systems Administrator to support the continued development of the firm's HR systems and data reporting capability.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working within a Human Resources department of 43 people, this HR Systems Administrator role sits in the Operations team, working closely with the HR Systems & Processes Manager and a second HR Systems Administrator. The role provides reports and data analysis to the wider HR department and firm, and plays a key part in the ongoing development of the firm's HR system, Cascade.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the HR operations team with day-to-day HR data management and firm reporting requirements
  • Supporting the management and continuous development of the HR system (Cascade)
  • Assisting with the design and build of end-to-end workflows, using the system's built-in features to automate and improve processes
  • Creating complex Excel reports and presenting data
  • Assisting with managing HR system issues as they arise, liaising with the HRIS vendor to find solutions
  • Supporting the annual pay gap reporting and salary review process
  • Undertaking other reasonable ad-hoc duties as required
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of the HR service across the firm

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A minimum of one year's systems knowledge and experience, ideally gained within an HR department
  • Previous experience of HR information systems is desirable
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to build strong rapport and relationships at all levels across the business
  • A methodical approach, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • A pragmatic, can-do attitude with a focus on task completion
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a customer-focused mindset
  • A genuine interest in the business areas supported
