AI Research Engineer - 5+ yrs - New York, New York,United States - Onsite

Responsibilities: Research and develop GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, and traditional ML solutions. Design AI agents, tools, and intelligent workflows. Develop AI evaluation frameworks covering accuracy, relevance, groundedness, and reliability. Build auditability, traceability, and governance into AI solutions. Apply AI/ML to clinical, financial, and document intelligence use cases. Experiment with models, embeddings, retrieval strategies, and AI architectures. Collaborate with AI Engineers to transition successful solutions into production.

Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, machine learning, and statistics. Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, LangChain, LangGraph, AI/LLM evaluation, LLM-as-a-Judge, embeddings, and vector search. Strong analytical and research skills. Experience working in clinical, financial, or other regulated domains is a plus.
