Position: US Hardware Developer with Semiconductor Device Physics & Engineering 

Location - Fully Onsite [650 Harry Road, San Jose, CA]

Type:    Contract

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Micro-electronics Assembly:

·        Prior experience with Wire bonding process and equipment.

·        Familiarity with components bonding processes using adhesives.

·        Experience with precision assembly equipment.

·        Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical testing of components and assemblies.

·        Mechanical dexterity and Microscope utilization.

·        Installation repair and Maintenance

·        Setting up and maintaining a wide variety of electronics testing equipment and electromechanical equipment.

·        Conducting tests on equipment to ensure it meets specifications and calibrating systems for optimal performance.

·        System Design and Development

·        Working with engineers to design and develop new electromechanical systems, including selecting components, creating schematics, and testing prototypes.

·        Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and testing procedures.

·        Working with other engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel to ensure successful system integration and operation.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·        Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, including circuits, sensors, actuators, and control systems.

·        Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve basic issues in electromechanical systems.

·        Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data from tests and troubleshoot systems effectively.

·        Manual Dexterity: Experience using hand and power tools for assembly, disassembly, and repair of components.

·        Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

·        Associate degree

·        Minimum 3 years working in the High tech industry

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

·        Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for design and documentation, as well as experience with programming and control systems.

·        Precision Instruments : Ability to operate Analytical tools such as AFM, SEM, Zygo, Tencor

·        Associate degree in Math or science

·        Minimum 5 years working in the High tech industry, Medical
