Sr. Java Developer
St. Louis, MO

Summary:
The Client's Web Development Team is looking for a senior Java developer to help create several new capabilities for our customer-facing applications.
Our technology stack is Single Page Web App and Mobile App clients consuming Java RESTful JSON services and Oracle back-end databases.
Several years of active experience with server-side Java is required.
Multi-year experience with Spring, especially Spring JPA and Spring Security, and Hibernate is a strong plus.
Experience with javascript and css frameworks, especially angularjs, angular and bootstrap, and responsive design is also a strong plus.
We have a significant backlog of projects, so this work will be new development.

Required:
  • 6 or more years experience Java server-side web development
  • 3 or more years experience with java container frameworks (especially Spring)
  • Experience with unit testing framework (especially jUnit, Mockito)
  • Strong analytical, design, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills
Helpful Experience:
  • Java database framework (especially JPA, Hibernate)
  • Javascript, angular, and responsive design
  • Relational database (especially Oracle)
  • Jenkins
  • Spring JPA
  • IntelliJ, Maven, Tomcat, Mac OSX, linux, shell scripting
  • Perl for integration with legacy systems
