The Role • Define strategy to build and lead a high-performing AI product development team, including recruitment, development, and retention of talent. • Provide technical and functional leadership to a team of data engineers, ML Ops engineers, software architects, and software engineers. • Oversee the on-time, high-quality delivery of product-focused AI solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Establish development methodologies, project plans, estimates, resource allocation, and CI/CD pipelines. • Coach team members and external partners to deliver optimal, scalable AI/ML solutions. • Define and ensure the implementation of data science standards for exploration, development, and deployment. What You'll Need • Master's or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, applied statistics). • 10+ years of software/technology product development experience, with 5–7+ years specifically in AI/ML product development. • 5+ years of people management experience leading AI engineering or software teams. • Proven experience leading AI engineering and software teams through the full model development lifecycle. • Strong customer-centric approach with outstanding leadership and organizational skills. • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis clearly andActionably.
