Endpoint Engineer

Introduction

The Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the endpoint management technologies within the organization. This includes implementing Autopilot, device enrollment, policy management, application deployment, compliance enforcement, and more. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other teams.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on administration and engineering experience with SCCM/Intune
• Manage device enrollment, policy management, and application deployment
• Create and distribute software updates and packages
• Manage Windows Server imaging and OS deployments
• Understand and manage Active Directory, DNS, and GPOs
• Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation tasks
• Identify and resolve system problems and escalate service desk issues
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and participate in project initiatives

Requirements

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SCCM/Intune administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 11 imaging
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and GPO management
• Experience with VMware vCenter and SQL Server
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a similar role within an enterprise environment
