Head of Merchandising

For an international company operating in the retail industry, we are looking for an experienced Head of Merchandising to lead the merchandising strategy and drive commercial success across product categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global merchandising strategy in line with business objectives.
• Develop seasonal assortment plans, ensuring the right product mix across categories, price points and distribution channels.
• Partner with Design, Product Development, Production and Commercial teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive assortment optimization, pricing strategies and category performance.
• Analyze sales results, market trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor product performance and recommend actions to maximize profitability.
• Support seasonal go-to-market activities and collection launches.
• Present product strategies and seasonal collections to internal stakeholders and commercial teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior Merchandising role within an international retail or fashion environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Solid experience in assortment planning, pricing and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive business decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are considered an asset.
