Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Corporate

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition

FLSA Status: Exempt

 

Job Summary:

 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to deliver strategic recruiting solutions designed to attract top-quality talent. You will develop and foster meaningful relationships to ensure a clear understanding of the strategic direction of our business and develop plans to effectively source talent to meet our current and future business needs. You will be responsible for delivering an excellent candidate experience, strategically identifying candidate needs, advising on appropriate offer presentation, and closing offers to attain top quality talent.

 

Essential Position Functions: 

 

1. Develop recruitment strategies for assigned positions including but not limited to developing and activating candidate pipelines, leveraging technology, and social media/search engine channels and AI powered talent solutions.

2. Lead and maintain responsibility for the integrity of the talent assessment process including resume screening, advanced competency-based phone interviews, consensus meetings, and hiring results.

3. Serve as a key influencer, building strategic partnerships and leveraging data and research to achieve quality of hire, time to fill, customer and candidate satisfaction.

4. Partner with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.

5. Create employee branding content, including employee testimonials, day in the life videos, and cultural highlights.

6. Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and relevant industry forums to source, engage, and develop talent pipelines.

7. Build and maintain an ongoing candidate pipeline using research, networking, database information, including a communication strategy to engage candidates.

8. Create and execute proactive recruitment strategies to navigate through challenging and high demand roles within competitive markets and industries.

9. Actively participate in local career fair events and campus recruiting.

 

Education and Experience:

 

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in recruiting in an agency or corporate environment.

2. 5+ years recruitment experience utilizing technology and social channels to source candidates.  ATS systems experience (UKG/Ultipro preferred).

3. CPG recruitment experience preferred.

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions: 

 

1. Office Environment.

2. Travel up to 10% of the time.

 

 

Exempt only:  This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
