Automatic Door Engineer Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE) + Overtime + Excellent Benefits Location: Hampshire & Dorset (Field-Based) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced Automatic Door Engineer looking for a role with a growing, well-established business that genuinely values its engineers?

We're recruiting for a skilled engineer to cover Hampshire and Dorset, with a particular focus on candidates based around Southampton and Bournemouth. As the engineering team continues to grow, there is a strong commitment to keeping engineers working within their local areas wherever possible.

The Role You'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of automatic and pedestrian door systems across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, retail, and public sector sites.

Key Responsibilities Install, service, maintain and repair automatic and pedestrian door systems.<br />Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.<br />Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.<br />Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant.<br />Complete all job documentation accurately using company systems.<br />Deliver a high standard of customer service while representing the business professionally.<br />Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health &amp; Safety regulations.

About You Minimum 2 years' experience working with automatic door systems (installation and/or maintenance).<br />Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.<br />Good understanding of Health &amp; Safety legislation.<br />Full UK driving licence.<br />Able to work independently and manage your own workload.<br />Excellent communication and customer service skills.Desirable:

Electrical qualifications.<br />Experience with access control systems.<br />CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain one).
