Job Summary
Seeking an Industrial Engineer with automotive manufacturing and robotics engineering experience to support plant investigations, feasibility studies, production-line engineering, and robotic simulation activities. The role requires strong hands-on experience with 3DX robotic simulation, robot reach studies, interference/clearance analysis, weld-spot distribution, and cycle-time optimization. The engineer will support welding, sealing, material handling, paint, and final assembly processes, including new model introduction, production ramp-up, line innovation, and renovation.
Responsibilities
- Execute plant investigations, feasibility studies, and developmental engineering activities.
- Perform robot reach, interference/clearance, weld-spot distribution, and cycle-time analysis.
- Conduct robotic simulations for welding, sealing, and material-handling processes.
- Develop equipment, robot, and process specifications.
- Support new vehicle model introduction on existing production lines.
- Support production ramp-up, line innovation, and line renovation.
- Provide engineering support for Weld, Paint, and Final Assembly processes.
- Coordinate project activities with onsite/offshore engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Automotive manufacturing, industrial engineering, or robotics experience.
- Strong experience with 3DX robotic simulation.
- Experience with robot reach studies and interference/clearance analysis.
- Experience with weld-spot distribution and cycle-time optimization.
- Experience with automotive production-line engineering.
Work Requirements
- Full-time, on-site position in Raymond, OH.
- Experience with production-line or plant engineering is required.
- Experience with welding, sealing, material handling, or automotive assembly processes is required.
- DELMIA V5 experience is preferred.
- Project coordination and onsite/offshore engineering experience preferred.

Salary/Rate
$80,000/annum
Good-faith salary range: $80,000/annum. Compensation is based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
