Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Technology Delivery team.
Reporting to the Managed Service & Support Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring Rauland's customer and managed service environments remain secure, stable and operational. You'll be responsible for maintaining enterprise infrastructure, supporting mission-critical healthcare technology environments and resolving complex technical issues that directly impact customer outcomes.

About the RoleYou'll be responsible for the administration, maintenance, security and operational performance of customer and managed service environments across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with Service, Projects, Product and Technology Delivery teams, you'll help ensure our platforms remain reliable, supportable and ready to meet the demands of healthcare environments.

Administer, maintain and support Windows, Linux, virtualisation, cloud and associated infrastructure platforms
Monitor system performance, availability and capacity to ensure reliable customer operations
Investigate, diagnose and resolve complex technical issues through structured root cause analysis
Implement and maintain security controls, patching, account management and vulnerability remediation activities
Ensure customer environments remain operationally ready, well-documented and supportable
Maintain technical documentation, configuration records and operational standards
Support deployments, upgrades and transitions into operational support
Provide advanced technical support and escalation assistance for customer environments and critical incidents
Drive automation, monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability and efficiency
Collaborate with internal teams and technology partners to deliver successful customer outcomes
Experience administering enterprise infrastructure, servers and ICT environments
Experience supporting Windows and Linux Server environments
Knowledge of networking, virtualisation and infrastructure technologies
Experience supporting cloud, hosted or hybrid environments
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability
Experience managing technical incidents and remediation activities
Understanding of security controls, patching, backups and system maintenance
Strong documentation, governance and technical communication skills
A proactive and continuous improvement mindset
Ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholder groups
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Red Hat, AWS or Azure (desirable)
Ability to drive within Australia and/or New Zealand
Ability to participate in on-call support arrangements where required
Ability to work within healthcare and mission-critical operational environments
