Senior DevOps Engineer | Kubernetes / AWS / Terraform | Bristol | Hybrid (occasional travel/flexible) £60,000 - £80,000 + Benefits Are you a DevOps Engineer who wants to move beyond maintaining infrastructure and play a key role in building a modern platform from the ground up?

I'm working with a fast growing AI startup that is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its engineering team and take ownership of some genuinely interesting infrastructure challenges.

The business is embarking on a fresh Kubernetes implementation, so this is an opportunity to get involved at a point where your technical decisions will have a real impact on how the platform is built, deployed and operated. ️ What will you be doing?<br />✨You'll be responsible for helping design, build and continuously improve the infrastructure and deployment ecosystem supporting the wider engineering function Your responsibilities will include:<br />✨Designing, implementing and maintaining scalable, secure and highly available infrastructure<br />✨Taking a role in the implementation and ongoing development of Kubernetes<br />✨Working extensively with AWS to build and operate cloud infrastructure<br />✨Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform<br />✨Building, improving and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines<br />✨Automating repetitive operational processes and reducing manual intervention<br />✨Supporting containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes<br />✨Monitoring infrastructure and application performance and improving overall reliability<br />✨Improving security, resilience and operational best practices across the platform<br />✨Contributing to the evolution of the organisation's Platform Engineering capability Core technologies:<br />Kubernetes<br />AWS<br />Terraform<br />Infrastructure<br />Docker<br />CI/CD Experience with microservices would also be highly valuable! 5 years experience + would be preferable We're particularly interested in engineers who have a Platform Engineering mindset people who think about how to create reusable, reliable tooling and infrastructure that makes life easier for development teams.
