Their Security Operations Centre (SOC) provides 24x7 monitoring, threat detection and incident response services using cutting-edge security technologies. With a strong focus on innovation, automation and continuous improvement, they support organisations in staying ahead of evolving cyber threats. The team works closely with security engineers, threat intelligence specialists and consulting teams to deliver end-to-end cyber defence capabilities.
Location- Melbourne CBD location
- Brand new SOC team with global exposure
- High performing SOC environment
As a SOC Analyst, you will be part of a 24x7 Security Operations Centre responsible for monitoring and responding to security threats across multiple customer environments. 4 days on / 3 days off shift roster with paid overtime.
- Monitoring security alerts across SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR and other security platforms
- Analyzing security logs from firewalls, endpoints, servers and cloud environments
- Investigating and triaging potential security incidents
- Documenting incidents and maintaining accurate case records
- Supporting threat intelligence enrichment and vulnerability monitoring
- Participating in shift handovers and continuous SOC improvements
Background in Cyber Security, Information Security or Computer Science.
- Experience or exposure to SOC monitoring, incident response or threat analysis
- Understanding of network fundamentals, Windows/Linux systems and security tools
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR or cloud security monitoring tools
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SC 200 or vendor certifications are advantageous but not essential.
