job summary:

We are seeking an experienced interim Director, CRM & Field Systems to provide leadership for our Commercial Field Operations organization. In this role, you will own the operational management, governance, and enhancement of our Veeva CRM platform while partnering closely with Commercial Operations, IT, and external vendors. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you will drive strategic CRM initiatives while overseeing day-to-day platform health.

responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the business lead and platform owner for the Veeva CRM platform within Commercial Field Operations.
• Lead and manage the CRM support team, providing clear direction, prioritization, and execution oversight.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business needs into functional specifications and Agile user stories.
• Own CRM governance, change management, release planning, and platform health.

qualifications:

10+ years of experience supporting Commercial or Field Operations within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Extensive experience implementing, enhancing, and serving as the business/product owner for Veeva CRM.

Proven experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical requirements.

Excellent cross-functional leadership, project management, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience leading large-scale Veeva CRM implementations or major transformation programs.

Prior experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Familiarity with CRM integrations involving customer master data, analytics, and digital engagement platforms.
