Role Overview

A seasoned Cloud & Data Architect (specialization of Microsoft Fabric, Azure) with Cloud Data Engineering as an early background - who can define and drive enterprise level transformation in Financial Sector while owning end-to-end architecture on Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise cloud and data transformation strategy aligned with business goals
• Architect end-to-end solutions on Microsoft Fabric (Data Ingestion, OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, Real-Time Analytics)
• Design scalable data platforms supporting batch, streaming, and real-time use cases
• Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (knowledge of Purview preferred)
• Drive data modeling standards (Lakehouse, medallion architecture, domain-driven design)
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture
• Define best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into the data ecosystem

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12 16 years of experience in cloud and data architecture
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (end-to-end architecture)
• Deep understanding of modern cloud data architectures (lakehouse, data mesh, data fabric, Azure and MS Fabric)
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms
• Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and lineage
• Expertise in cloud and data platforms (Azure and MS Fabric ecosystem)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
