Systems Administrator

Location: Tallahassee, Florida
Duration: 12 Months Contract

FDOT is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to manage and support cloud infrastructure, server administration, Microsoft 365, identity management, and enterprise IT environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Windows Server, Azure, networking, and infrastructure operations.

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure, systems administration, or information systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (required).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred).
• Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 administration.
• IIS Administration and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, NTFS, Samba/CIFS).
• Microsoft 365 and Identity & Access Management.
• Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux administration (Red Hat/Ubuntu) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security experience.

• Administer and support cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Manage Windows servers, Microsoft 365, and identity platforms.
• Monitor system performance, security, and availability.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure.
• Support Azure DevOps projects, Git repositories, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to deploy and maintain applications.
• Recommend infrastructure improvements and support enterprise IT operations.

Education: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
