  • Technical variety covering fixed structures, floaters, foundations, and advanced non-linear analysis
  • Hybrid working with strong remote flexibility
  • International travel opportunities, both short and long term

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct structural engineers across one project or multiple work packages
  • Set up internal workflows and plan the team's activities
  • Execute structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides
  • Define the best technical solutions across feasibility, FEED, and detailed design
  • Review the team's technical documentation and analyses before issue
  • Prepare sketch drawings, concept work, and feasibility studies

  • Organise offshore resource workloads with planners and project management
  • Liaise with other discipline leads through project execution
  • Tutor and mentor junior structural engineers

  • Experience designing foundation systems, including piles and mud mats
  • Experience in brownfield re-design, life extension, and reliability analysis
  • Non-linear analysis capability including blast, dropped objects, impact, redundancy, and pushover
  • Experience with floaters design
  • Familiarity with offshore materials, fabrication, and installation
  • Proficiency with tools such as SESAM Suite, USFOS, ANSYS, and SACS
  • Degree in Civil, Offshore, Structural, or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering with a focus on structures
