Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Datasphere / BTP Solution Architect to support the Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) AI Acceleration project. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing a hybrid cloud data architecture that integrates SAP data through SAP Datasphere into Microsoft Fabric to establish an Operational Data Store (ODS) for AI and analytics use cases.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, data integration, solution architecture, and data engineering, along with familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure AI, and Microsoft Fabric. Experience with Finance processes, particularly Invoice-to-Pay (I2P), is highly preferred.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement SAP Datasphere solutions to support Finance and Invoice-to-Pay data requirements.
• Develop a hybrid cloud architecture integrating SAP Datasphere, Microsoft Azure, Azure AI, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Build and configure data pipelines to stream and integrate SAP data from Datasphere into Microsoft Fabric.
• Establish Microsoft Fabric as an Operational Data Store (ODS) for downstream AI, analytics, and reporting requirements.
• Provide hands-on engineering and solution architecture expertise across SAP BTP and Datasphere.
• Analyze existing data and integration requirements and quickly translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Support integration of SAP Finance data for AI-driven Invoice-to-Pay acceleration and automation use cases.
• Collaborate with Finance, Data, AI, SAP, and Azure teams to define integration patterns and architecture.
• Develop data models, interfaces, views, and integration flows within SAP Datasphere.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance, scalability, and performance across the hybrid cloud architecture.
• Troubleshoot integration and data-streaming issues and provide rapid resolution.
• Create technical architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, integration specifications, and implementation documentation.
• Participate in design sessions, technical workshops, testing, deployment, and knowledge-transfer activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and cloud-based integration.
• Experience in SAP data integration, data modeling, data engineering, and solution architecture.
• Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud data platforms.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure platform and Azure-based integration services.
• Familiarity with Azure AI / AI solutions and AI-enabled data architectures.
• Strong understanding of Finance business processes, preferably Invoice-to-Pay (I2P).
• Experience working with SAP Finance data and integrating SAP data with external/cloud platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly understand complex business and technical requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and I2P processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure AI, or related Azure services.
• Experience implementing hybrid cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of SAP APIs, OData, CDS Views, data replication, and real-time/near-real-time data integration.
• Experience supporting AI/ML, analytics, and data modernization initiatives.
• Prior experience working on Finance transformation or AI acceleration projects is a plus.
