Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will analyze business data, develop reports and dashboards, and provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple business sources.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
• Create and maintain KPIs, metrics, and performance reports.
• Validate data accuracy and perform data quality checks.
• Assist with data modeling, data transformation, and report automation.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and business teams.
• Document reporting logic, data sources, and business requirements.
• Present findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience or academic knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or another BI tool.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
• Knowledge of KPIs, dashboards, and data visualization best practices.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify meaningful insights.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Power BI DAX and Power Query.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Basic understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Internship, academic projects, or prior experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
