Software Developer

Responsibilities

● Design and Development:

○ Maintain and enhance the core Python-based automation codebase (Python 3.10+) for legal and compliance operations.

○ Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments across AWS environments (including EC2, S3, and Glacier) utilizing configuration management tools.

○ Build and maintain integrations with various third-party SaaS enterprise platforms and manage associated service accounts securely.

○ Automate eDiscovery workflows, including legal holds, data collection, and archiving processes across enterprise systems.

○ Develop and maintain data extraction and web scraping tools to support ongoing compliance requirements.

○ Modernize CI/CD pipelines and package deployment strategies to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

● Collaboration:

○ Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Physical Security, to support critical external integrations, reporting.

○ Participate actively in peer code reviews, ensuring appropriate approvals are secured to maintain high coding standards before merging to production.

● Testing and Quality Assurance: ○ Ensure system reliability by maintaining and expanding robust unit and integration testing frameworks.

○ Monitor automated daily error reports and proactively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.

○ Maintain and configure local development environments to ensure consistency and efficiency across the team.

● Documentation:

○ Create and update comprehensive technical documentation, including operational procedures, system architectures, and internal knowledge bases.

○ Manage project workflows and issue tracking within Jira.

○ Maintain accurate, secure records for service accounts, API credentials, and system configurations.

● Continuous Improvement:

○ Perform reactive maintenance to adapt systems promptly when external API providers update their services.

○ Drive the completion of near-term project milestones to enhance system efficiency, automate ad-hoc requests, and improve data validation.
