The Role • Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks. • Drive specialized equipment such as hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard. • Utilize top loaders, side loaders, and/or cranes to stack, move, and organize containers. • Conduct pre- and post-use equipment inspections to ensure operational safety. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage moves and tasks effectively. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
