Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 9+ years of experience in test automation for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Selenium, Playwright, API automation, CI/CD, and messaging technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks while ensuring software quality across development and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test strategies, test cases, and frameworks.
• Build and execute UI, API, integration, performance, and regression tests.
• Automate test execution through CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform code reviews and collaborate with developers to improve test automation.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and manage defects.
• Support software releases and production deployments.
• Contribute to QA best practices, coding standards, and automation frameworks.
• Perform exploratory testing and validate production fixes.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of QA Automation experience.
• 5+ years of Java development.
• Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin.
• API automation using RestAssured, Spring Boot, GraphQL, or Postman.
• Messaging technologies: Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ (JMS).
• SQL, Git, Jenkins/CI-CD, JIRA, Splunk.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and service-oriented/microservices architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes, Couchbase, SQL Server.
• POS, payment gateway/terminal, or high-volume eCommerce experience.
