Your skills

• 2-5 years of datacenter, network, or smart hands experience
• Strong knowledge of network and hardware infrastructure
• Willingness to commute long distances between customer sites
• Availability to support rotational schedules or on-call coverage when required
• CCNA or equivalent networking certification required
• Experience with routers, switches, and physical network installations
• Ability to work independently in mission-critical environments
• This role is a Salary Non-Exempt position with a targeted salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 USD

Your tasks

Hemmersbach is seeking an experienced Network / Datacenter Smart Hands Field Engineer to provide onsite support within datacenter, laboratory, and network environments. The role focuses on physical infrastructure support, network operations assistance, and hands-on troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cable tracing, hardware replacement, rack-and-stack activities, and power cycling
• Support servers, storage devices, network equipment, and datacenter infrastructure
• Assist with LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VoIP, switches, routers, and firewalls
• Maintain cable management, labelling, inventory, and UPS validation activities
• Support datacenter operations, migrations, and infrastructure projects
• Document work and update ServiceNow tickets in accordance with SLA requirements
