About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Databricks - Multiple Positions to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Apache Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Data Factory along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Databricks Technologies & Skills

Experience with one or more of the following is highly valued:

• Lakehouse & Data: Databricks Lakehouse, Apache Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, Workflows & Jobs, Structured Streaming, ETL/ELT and Data Warehousing.
• Programming: Python, SQL, Scala or Java.
• Cloud & Data Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Data Factory and AWS Glue.
• AI/ML: MLflow, Mosaic AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI and model development.
• DevOps & Governance: Git, CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, Data Governance, Security, Access Controls and Platform Administration.
   

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and Lakehouse solutions.
• Build and support ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and related technologies.
• Implement data governance, security, access controls, and platform administration.
• Integrate Databricks with cloud platforms and enterprise data technologies.
• Support migrations, performance optimization, production troubleshooting, and platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, developers, analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, cloud environments, CI/CD, Git, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
   

Preferred Certifications

• Databricks certifications such as Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Machine Learning Professional, Associate Developer for Apache Spark, and Generative AI Engineer are preferred, along with relevant AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform certifications.

 

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
