Snowflake Developer

Duration: 6+ Months
Location: 100% Remote
Develop and optimize enterprise data solutions using Snowflake and SQL. Build complex stored procedures, data transformations, and scalable data pipelines while producing technical design documentation. Support reliable data integration, performance optimization, and Agile delivery, with exposure to SAP S/4HANA, Blue Yonder, and AI technologies.
Required Skills:

• 3-7 years of professional experience in Snowflake development or data engineering.
• Hands-on experience writing optimized SQL code and tuning query performance in Snowflake.
• Experience creating technical design documents and detailed technical specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and debug complex Snowflake stored procedures, SQL scripts, and user-defined functions (UDFs).
• Optimize queries, data transformations, and warehouse utilization for performance and efficiency.
• Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) data workflows.
• Apply Snowflake architecture principles, including virtual warehouses, role-based access control (RBAC), data sharing, and micro-partitioning.
• Create technical design documents, specifications, and implementation documentation.
• Integrate Snowflake with data pipelines and orchestration tools while supporting Agile/Scrum delivery.
