Data Engineer - PSQA

Our client, a leading organization in the technology industry, is seeking a Data Engineer - PSQA to join their team. As a Data Engineer - PSQA, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the Product and Software Quality teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Engineer - PSQA

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $38/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and scorecards for PSQA release and quality metrics
• Query, aggregate, and transform release/version data using SQL and Python
• Develop ETL pipelines to process and simplify quality and release data from multiple components
• Model release- and version-based data to enable tracking and trend analysis over time
• Perform exploratory data analysis to surface insights and support data-driven quality decisions

What's Needed?

• Strong SQL skills for querying, aggregation, and data modeling
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas/PySpark) for ETL and data transformation
• Experience building dashboards with BI tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
• Ability to model release/version-based data for longitudinal tracking
• Basic data science skills including statistics, exploratory data analysis, and notebook-based analysis
