Role: SAP FERC Consultant
Location: Remote (Occasional travel.) 
Duration: 3-month contract (strong potential for extension based on performance) 
Start: Immediate

Role Overview Our client is kicking off a greenfield SAP FERC implementation for a leading utility client currently running on a legacy system. We need a hands-on SAP FERC Consultant who can hit the ground running — take the project from blueprint through configuration, data migration support, and go-live. Strong performers will see this role extend well beyond the initial 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP FERC configuration and setup for the greenfield implementation
• Map legacy utility data into SAP FERC structures (FERC Forms 1, 2, 3, etc.)
• Define and configure regulatory accounts, cost pools, and allocation rules
• Collaborate with functional teams (IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities / FI) to ensure seamless integration
• Support data migration, testing cycles, and cutover activities
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to the client's team

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SAP FERC, specifically in the utility/energy sector
• At least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP FERC (greenfield preferred)
• Deep understanding of FERC regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
• Hands-on configuration of regulatory ledgers, allocations, and account mapping
• Experience working with legacy system conversions to SAP
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
