Shift: 2/2/3 schedule, preferably night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Job Description
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and housekeeping standards.
  • Coordinate daily production cell operations to maximize equipment efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
  • Perform machine setup, mold setup, press setup, and auxiliary equipment setup to bring jobs into production.
  • Monitor and adjust molding processes, cycle times, and machine operations to minimize scrap and optimize performance.
  • Maintain setup sheets and document all process changes during production.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues that contribute to downtime, inefficiencies, and production defects.
  • Identify potential problems with machinery, molds, process parameters, and auxiliary equipment and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance on machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Complete production reports, machine setup documentation, process data records, and other required reports accurately and on time.
  • Verify and document in-process quality data, including first-shot and last-shot inspections, process deviations, and out-of-control conditions.
  • Ensure product quality meets customer specifications and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with production managers, shift coordinators, technicians, and operators regarding production status and issues.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to production employees and temporary personnel.
  • Coordinate shift-to-shift handoffs to ensure smooth production continuity.
  • Input and maintain accurate production data within the company s production tracking system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve production goals and customer expectations.
  • Assist in training and motivating team members to achieve maximum productivity and quality performance.
  • Perform light maintenance and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Injection molding processing experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures.
  • Understanding of standard manufacturing methods and production processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
