Our client, a technology company, is looking to hire a Senior HR Business Partner in San Diego, CA.

Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner

Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid preferred: 1–2 days/week in office)

Duration: Contract - 5+ months

Pay Rate Range: $35 - $40/hr (DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers on employee performance concerns, providing coaching, guidance, and best practices for performance management.
  • Support Employee Relations, Employment Law, and HR Centers of Excellence to deliver consistent HR programs, policies, and performance initiatives.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex HR operations, including compensation inquiries, internal transfers, rehire eligibility, and employee support requests.
  • Analyze HR data and prepare reports on hiring, attrition, and workforce trends while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to execute day-to-day HR initiatives, reporting, and special projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting HR programs including performance management, employee relations, compensation, and HR policy interpretation.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment practices, and handling confidential employee information.
  • Experience using HR systems or case management/CRM platforms to document and manage employee cases.
  • Ability to analyze HR data, manage multiple priorities, and support a fast-paced business environment.
