We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Management Technician to support the maintenance, validation, and management of engineering and infrastructure data. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technical documentation, mapping systems, AutoCAD, GIS, and databases while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of critical asset information.

Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and verify engineering and infrastructure data for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter, extract, analyze, and reconcile data from multiple databases.
- Research and resolve data inconsistencies across various systems.
- Review engineering plans, drawings, maps, and related technical documentation.
- Create and update assets using AutoCAD.
- Generate reports and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
- Maintain document management standards, classifications, and metadata.
- Assist internal users with data, documentation, and electronic records processes.
- Support ongoing data quality initiatives and continuous process improvements.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and technical staff to ensure accurate information management.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with databases and electronic document management systems.
- Ability to accurately capture, maintain, and update technical data.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, maps, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AutoCAD.
- Experience with ArcGIS or other GIS applications.
- Experience working with engineering, utility, or infrastructure data.
- Knowledge of asset management, tracking, or reporting systems.
- Experience supporting document management or records management programs.
