Crawley 12-month fixed-term contract Circa 29,750 + 7.5% bonus

Make every new starter's first experience count

Join our HR Services Onboarding Team at Energy House and help deliver an accurate, efficient and welcoming journey for new employees. From offer through to day one, you'll play a key role in making sure people feel informed, supported and ready to succeed.

What you'll do
  • Prepare contracts and appointment letters and maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening, references and right-to-work checks.
  • Set up permanent and agency workers in SAP and process employee changes.
  • Keep new starters and hiring managers updated, agreeing start dates and coordinating induction activity.
  • Manage onboarding enquiries and provide accurate information ahead of payroll deadlines.
  • Protect confidential data, follow audit requirements and identify practical process improvements.

What you'll bring
  • Experience delivering a responsive, professional service to customers, candidates, colleagues or stakeholders.
  • Strong organisation, data-entry and proofreading skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage several priorities, maintain clear records and meet deadlines.
  • Confident written and verbal communication, including knowing when to escalate an issue.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the discretion to handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • A collaborative approach, with the confidence to work independently and take ownership.

Experience in administration, HR, recruitment, onboarding or an HR system such as SAP would be useful, but it is not essential. If you meet the essential criteria and can demonstrate relevant transferable skills, we encourage you to apply.

What we offer

Alongside a starting salary of circa 29,750 and a 7.5% bonus, you'll receive 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension, employee discounts, discounted gym membership, wellbeing support and access to tax-efficient schemes including Cycle to Work, Home & Tech and Green Car Leasing.

Ready to apply?

This is a 12-month fixed-term personal contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. You'll report to the Onboarding Team Leader and must be available to start on 18 January 2027 to support a handover.
