Manufacturing Engineer Campsie, Derry/Londonderry Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing business at its Campsie facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on industry-leading equipment within a modern manufacturing environment, helping to improve production processes, introduce new products and drive continuous improvement across the factory. Working closely with Design, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. The Role Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through process improvement, new product introduction and the implementation of best engineering practices. Key responsibilities include: Develop and improve manufacturing processes to maximise safety, quality and productivity Support the introduction of new products into production, ensuring smooth and efficient launches Design and implement manufacturing layouts, tooling, fixtures and work instructions Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs and eliminate waste through continuous improvement Investigate production issues and implement robust engineering solutions Work closely with Design Engineering to ensure products are optimised for manufacture and assembly Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including process optimisation and standardisation Analyse production data to identify trends and drive performance improvements Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to improve operational performance Ensure engineering documentation remains accurate and up to date Support capital investment projects and equipment implementation where required About You We're looking for engineers who have: Degree qualification (or equivalent) in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Previous experience within a manufacturing engineering or production engineering role Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication and assembly techniques Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) projects would be advantageous Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset What's on Offer Competitive salary Private healthcare for you and your dependants Contributory pension scheme Life assurance Employee Stock Purchase Plan Refer a Friend bonus scheme Perks at Work employee discount programme Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities Long-term career progression within a global engineering organisation Opportunity to work with cutting-edge products in a growing manufacturing business If you're passionate about improving manufacturing processes and want to build your career with one of Northern Ireland's leading engineering employers, we'd love to hear from you.
