Lead Data Scientist (W2 Only)

Role: Lead Data Scientist

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12+ months

Client: Charter Communications/Cognizant

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning, with 2+ years in a lead role
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL
• Hands-on expertise with ML frameworks: Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
• Experience with Big Data tools: Spark, Databricks, Hadoop
• Strong experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, Prompt Engineering
• Experience with MLOps: MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Docker, Kubernetes
• Expertise in Cloud Platforms: AWS (SageMaker), Azure ML, or Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, and optimization techniques
• Experience with Data Visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
