End User Specalist

Day-to-day responsibilities:
• Industrial Work Technician – production devices – PCS, Cameras, scanners, make production possible – IP addresses, Windows, office, production environment (good with heights, productions critical role. Weekend and holiday work required (manager wants this to not be a surprise to the candidate when interviewing- Most important work time when the plant is shut down. Some occasional work after hours.
• Half of the role (industrial workspace devices) and the other half (IT Delivery Manager)– make people happy. Escalate issues – if things aren’t functioning correctly. Customer escalations.
Top skills:
a. Customer Support is important – conflict resolution. How to handle different types of people.
b. Sectional planning - looking for quality to hire internally.
Must Haves:
- Technical skill sets – need to be expert in hardware and software platforms.
- Have someone that is solution oriented. Can find the solution themselves.
- Understanding of Agile Mythology – JIRA (no master but familiar in tools)

• Key areas he is looking for include:
• Senior-level technician experience with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Manufacturing experience (strongly preferred).
• Agile and/or project management experience.
• Experience leading or supporting projects in industrial/manufacturing environments, such as Windows migrations, thin/thick client troubleshooting and deployments, hardware refreshes, and technology rollouts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, interpret, and leverage data effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and the ability to drive projects and tasks to completion.

Primary work week is Monday - Friday.
Occasional overtime, weekend and holiday work are required.
Role is primarily onsite: 70–80% at Plant Spartanburg (Greer) and the remainder at the IT Research Center (Greenville). Workfromhome permitted only for illness or special circumstances.
