What does the job look like?

We're looking for a commercially astute and relationship focused Business Development Manager to join our BevChain team. This role plays a critical part in driving sustainable business growth by identifying new opportunities, securing strategic partnerships, and delivering high quality tender submissions aligned with our growth strategy.

You will lead the end to end business development lifecycle from market insight and opportunity identification through to bid execution and customer engagement working closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver innovative, value driven logistics solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and proactive customer engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to generate and convert growth opportunities
  • Lead and deliver end to end tender and bid processes, ensuring high quality submissions and timely delivery of key milestones
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (Operations, Commercial, Legal, Safety, and Senior Leadership) to develop tailored, customer centric solutions
  • Develop compelling proposal content and presentations that clearly articulate our value proposition
  • Maintain and continuously improve a bid library to support efficient, high quality future submissions
  • Manage a robust and active pipeline of opportunities to support revenue and growth targets
Are you the one?

You are a driven and strategic business development professional who thrives in complex, fast paced logistics environments. You bring a strong mix of commercial acumen, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate data into actionable solutions. You will bring:

  • 5+ years' experience within a complex logistics or supply chain environment
  • Proven success in managing tenders, bids, and commercial negotiations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret cost to serve and financial impacts
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into operational solutions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • High attention to detail with strong problem solving and business analysis capability
  • Experience using systems and reporting tools, with an understanding of operational and financial linkages
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
