About the Role

The JBS Prime City Feedlot is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced self starter to join our dedicated and experienced Livestock team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and complete all necessary activities to induct new cattle into the feedlot, including weighing, administering animal treatments and conducting animal breed/type assessments
• Completing paperwork and documentation associated with entry cattle
• Cleaning of the feedlot receival holding pens
• Assisting the broader team with livestock handling across the feedlot
• Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations

About You

• Communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to animal welfare, health & nutrition
• Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
• Previous cattle handling skills would be favourable, however not essential as on the job training is provided
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
