Systems Engineer

Job Description Overview As AtkinsRéalis Australia embarks on expansion into the Defence industry, the Systems Engineer will be an integral part of enabling a Defence business in Australia. Based from Adelaide, and supported by a mature global team, the successful candidate will benefit from guidance and experience of technical leads from other parts of the global business to grow the Australian business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a technical consultant for assignment delivery to the contractual requirements
• Manage client relationships related to assignments
• Implementation of systems engineering best practice to nationally important programmes
• Add technical expertise to large, complex and strategically important bids and proposals for projects across Australia.
• Contribute to development of innovative ideas which deliver service and product growth, client satisfaction improvement or operational performance improvement and for championing the implementation of those ideas

About you

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Experience in requirements derivation and elicitation
• Experience in requirements management in a defence or infrastructure environment
• Experience in conducting verification and validation activities, and test and evaluation planning
• Proficiency in industry standard requirements management toolset(s) - preference for IBM DOORS NG
