The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks safely and efficiently. • Stack, move, and organize containers within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate logistics. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required. • Experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions. • Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail. • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
