Job Description

Solar as a Service (SaaS) Delivery Manager Action Renewables is recruiting for a Solar as a Service (SaaS) Delivery Manager. Role Overview Lead the development and delivery of Action Renewables solar programmes across both commercial and charitable offerings. Manage end-to-end programme delivery, ensuring projects are completed efficiently while achieving strong commercial outcomes and meaningful community impact. Help shape and scale the organisations solar programme, with responsibility for programme performance, stakeholder relationships and continuous improvement. Salary: £40,118.00 per annum. Location: Belfast office. All applicants must be able to provide proof of right to work in the UK. Essential Criteria Level 6 qualification in a relevant subject, or minimum 5 years relevant experience. Minimum 3-5 years experience in project or programme management, with renewables or charity sector experience desirable. Strong understanding of solar delivery models, including customer and community benefits, delivery considerations and stakeholder engagement requirements. Evidence of developing and delivering new projects or programmes. Experience contributing to organisational development. Proven ability to manage deadlines, priorities and multiple workstreams. Strong problem-solving skills with experience developing innovative solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong report writing and analytical capabilities. High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work collaboratively and lead within a team environment. Full UK driving licence and access to a car, as site visits are required. Desirable Criteria Knowledge of energy policy in Northern Ireland, ROI and GB. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, particularly solar PV. Experience delivering or supporting similar service models. Experience working with community or charitable energy programmes. Experience organising and delivering seminars or knowledge-sharing events. Level 7 qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline.
