Role Summary

The BI Consultant leads the design, development, and end-to-end delivery of Business Intelligence and data analytics solutions focused on Finance and HR domains for a major client in the Advertising and Media industry. The consultant partners with Finance, HR, and IT leadership to define and drive a comprehensive BI roadmap while managing stakeholder relationships across a complex, multinational environment. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric, combined with strong team leadership and mentoring skills. Candidates with prior experience in Advertising, Media, Creative, or Production domains are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify needs, prioritize opportunities, and manage end-to-end estimation, planning, and delivery.
• Reporting & Governance
  • Report project status to key business owners and IT leadership, ensuring full compliance with IT processes throughout solution delivery and support.
• BI Solution Design & Development
  • Lead the design and development of end-to-end data analytics and BI solutions leveraging Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Data Engineering & Integration
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes; integrate structured and semi-structured data formats including JSON and Parquet.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of technologists to execute the BI roadmap on time and to quality standards.
• Cross-Geo Collaboration
  • Work effectively with cross-cultural, cross-geography teams in a complex multinational environment to ensure timely delivery.
• Innovation & Industry Awareness
  • Stay current with industry trends in data analytics, AI, and business intelligence; apply relevant advancements to improve client solutions.

Required Skills

• Business Intelligence: Power BI (advanced), BI roadmap ownership, end-to-end analytics solution delivery
• Cloud & Storage: Azure, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage
• Data Platform: Microsoft Fabric, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Engineering, Data Pipelines
• Data Formats: JSON, Parquet
• ERP (Preferred): SAP ERP / S4HANA — specifically SAP FICO, SD, PS, and MM; experience building analytics platforms on SAP ERP
• AI & Analytics: Applied AI knowledge integrated into BI/analytics solutions
• Domain: Finance and HR domain data; Advertising, Media, Creative, or Production industry (strongly preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 15+ years of overall BI and analytics experience
• 5+ years in a leadership or management role overseeing BI/analytics teams
• Experience in Advertising, Media, Creative, or Production domains strongly preferred
