We are seeking a Technical Business Development / Account Manager to support next-generation data center power architectures, with a focus on in-rack power conversion (48–50V to 12V) and board-level power distribution. This role will partner closely with semiconductor vendors, internal engineering teams, and key hyperscale customers to drive adoption of advanced power solutions in Open Rack and OCP-aligned environments.

The ideal candidate blends power electronics knowledge, semiconductor ecosystem familiarity, and customer-facing business development skills.

Skills/Experience Needed:

  • 5–10+ years of experience in:
    • Data center power systems, or
    • Semiconductor/power IC ecosystem, or
    • Technical sales/business development in power solutions
  • Strong understanding of:
    • DC-DC conversion topologies (buck, LLC, IBC, multiphase)
    • 48V data center architectures and rack-level power design
  • Experience working with hyperscale or cloud customers.
  • Strong technical communication (able to bridge engineering and business)
  • Customer-facing presentation and negotiation skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration (engineering, product, marketing)
  • Strategic thinking with execution focus

Responsibilities:

Customer & Account Management

  • Serve as the primary technical/business interface for hyperscale accounts
  • Support ORU (Open Rack Unit) in-rack power initiatives, including power shelf and busbar distribution strategies.
  • Translate customer requirements into our product roadmaps and design wins.

Technical Business Development

  • Drive adoption of our 48V-to-12V DC-DC conversion solutions, including:
    • Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC)
    • Bus Converters / DCX (Direct Conversion)
    • Point-of-Load (POL) architectures
  • Identify and develop opportunities in rack-level and board-level power distribution.

Semiconductor Ecosystem Engagement

  • Build strategic relationships with key semiconductor partners, including:
    • Power controller and PMIC vendors
    • GaN/SiC device manufacturers
  • Align our solutions with chipsets from different companies
  • Support co-design and reference architectures leveraging:
    • Digital power controllers (PMBus-enabled)
    • Multiphase buck converters for 12V rail distribution
    • High-efficiency conversion using GaN FETs

Product & Architecture Alignment

  • Support development and positioning of:
    • 48V power shelves and rectifiers
    • Busbar-based rack distribution systems
    • 12V intermediate rails for CPU/GPU/ASIC loads
  • Contribute to OCP-aligned designs (Open Rack v3, ORv3 power specs).

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Track trends in hyperscale data centers, including:
    • Migration from 12V to 48V architectures
    • AI/ML workload-driven power density increases
  • Provide competitive insights and identify gaps in our portfolio.

Preferred (Nice to have):

  • Familiarity with Open Compute Project standards.
  • Experience with board-level power design for CPUs, GPUs, or ASICs.
  • Knowledge of:
    • PMBus / digital power management
    • Thermal and efficiency optimization in high-density racks
  • Existing relationships with similar hyperscalers.
