Sr WMS QA Tester / Lead

Role: Sr WMS QA Tester / Lead

Location: Remote (need to work in EST hours)

Duration: 12+ Months

Key Requirements

WMS QA Senior Tester / Lead with strong Supply Chain, Distribution, and Warehouse Management domain expertise and extensive hands-on functional and integration testing experience.

• 10 + years of QA/testing experience with strong experience in Supply Chain, Distribution, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong hands-on experience testing enterprise WMS solutions and warehouse operations.
• Strong functional understanding of warehouse processes, including Receiving, Putaways, Pick-Pack-Ship, Order Management, Inventory Management, ASN's
• Experience executing Functional, System Integration (SIT), End-to-End (E2E), and Regression Testing, along with UAT support.
• Strong experience validating integrations between WMS, ERP, OMS, TMS, EDI/API interfaces, and external/warehouse automation systems.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs/web services using Postman and/or SOAP UI.
• Strong understanding of ERP and order management processes to effectively perform integration and E2E testing.
• Ability to analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into Test Strategy, Test Plans, estimates, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Experience creating test data and validating standalone systems when dependent E2E systems are unavailable.
• Strong experience with JIRA and Zephyr Scale for test management, execution, traceability, and defect management.
• Experience using Confluence for QA documentation and collaboration.
• Ability to lead defect triage, root-cause discussions, retesting, and coordination with developers, business teams, integration teams, and external vendors.
• Ability to publish daily/weekly testing reports covering execution status, defects, risks, blockers, and release readiness.
• Ability to mentor and guide QA team members on WMS functionality and warehouse business processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute testing activities effectively in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Mentor and guide QA team members while remaining actively involved in hands-on testing.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, reusable test assets, regression suites, and testing standards.

Good to Have

• Understanding or hands-on experience with test automation using Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Experience identifying functional regression scenarios suitable for automation.
• SQL/database validation experience.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, middleware, or other WMS integrations.
• Experience with WMS integrations involving warehouse automation, material-handling, conveyors, sortation, robotics, or AS/RS systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
