Are you a Field Service Engineer with experience working on technical equipment or instrumentation? Do you enjoy fault-finding, installation and calibration in customer-facing environments? Are you open to UK and international travel as part of a varied service role?A global engineering manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the UK and internationally. The business designs and manufactures high-precision technical equipment used across demanding sectors including aerospace, medical, optics and advanced manufacturing.
The RoleYou will install, calibrate, maintain and repair specialist equipment at customer sites, ensuring systems operate to specification and customers receive a high level of technical support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, service and repair precision equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults using a structured approach
- Ensure equipment performs to required specifications and reliability standards
- Maintain accurate service records, CRM updates and customer asset information
- Provide professional customer support and technical guidance
- Travel across the UK and internationally, including trips of 2-4 weeks
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years experience in field service, technical support or similar
- Experience with measuring instruments, machine tools or precision equipment advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing ability
- Full UK driving licence
