Job Title: Analytics Engineer ( Telecom Transport Eng. )

Telecom Background with Transport Eng.

Any one is required : ( EBH/ DWDM/Ciena/ROADM, In Building DAS/ ULH/ Circuit Design & Provisioning)

Core Responsibilities

• Performing financial audits on transport leased data.
• Cleaning up large datasets and troubleshooting tool-related process issues.
• Leveraging AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Notebook LM) to overhaul and automate audit processes.
• The Strong Analyst: Masters in CS or similar; expert in SQL/queries, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), and Python scripts. Ability to join complex tables and build AI models.
• The Former Transport Engineer: Strong knowledge of the Verizon network and tools; willing to be taught the analytical/data side.
• Data/Analytics: Google Cloud Platform, Google Sheets (moving away from Microsoft), Looker (moving away from Tableau).
• AI: Claude, Gemini, Notebook LM.
• Verizon Background: Highly preferred. Candidates must include a point of contact/referral on their resume.

Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years

Responsibilities:

• Mining various data sources and or providing visualization and analysis of complex data structures.
• Manage creation and distribution process to ensure all contractual obligations are met with regard to data content and timeliness constraints.
• Develop, drive, and track the definition of fundamental metrics • Provide support on development of dashboards tracking key metrics of program / provider or client performance.
• Establish relationships with all departments and levels of the organization in order to understand the information needs of each.
• Assist with any ad hoc requests or special projects that require data analysis.
