The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, and top loaders, to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks to maintain efficient yard operations. • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and routine maintenance on equipment. • Safely stack, move, and organize containers within the intermodal yard. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to ensure coordinated and timely task completion. • Adhere to rigorous safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required for this position. • Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. • Basic communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
