Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Appian Architect with IT experience and a strong background in Appian BPM architecture, low-code application development, and enterprise workflow automation. The ideal candidate will lead solution architecture, design scalable Appian applications, mentor development teams, and drive enterprise integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable Appian BPM solutions, including process models, records, interfaces, and business rules.
  • Create High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for enterprise workflow solutions.
  • Develop and configure Appian applications using Tempo, Smart Services, Reports, Pages, Mobility Features, Forums, and Deployment tools.
  • Integrate Appian applications with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Define architecture standards, governance, and best practices for Appian implementations.
  • Mentor development teams, perform code reviews, and support CI/CD deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable workflow automation solutions.
Required Skills
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Appian BPM development and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Appian Designer, BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, Configurations, and Deployment.
  • Experience with Process Models, Business Rules, Smart Services, Tempo, Reports, and Appian Administration.
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, and XSLT.
  • Experience integrating Appian with REST/SOAP services, databases, and enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of workflow automation, business rules engines, and enterprise architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Appian Certified Professional/Lead Developer certification.
  • Experience leading teams of 6–8 developers and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Knowledge of JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, and Appian Administration.
  • Experience with AWS/cloud-based Appian deployments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
