The Role • Act as a lead in the absence of store management, assisting with daily operations. • Provide excellent customer service, greeting shoppers and helping them locate merchandise. • Unload trucks, receive, and stock merchandise according to company standards. • Operate the cash register, process customer transactions, and handle cash and payments accurately. • Assist in maintaining store appearance, including dusting, mopping, and setting up displays. • Support inventory management through ordering and restocking processes. What You'll Need • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for transactions. • Strong understanding of cash handling procedures and security practices. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interaction. • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift merchandise up to 40 pounds. • Experience operating a cash register and scanning equipment. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with a background in retail or supervisory roles a plus.
