Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced HRP Configuration Analyst with strong HealthRules Payer (HRP) configuration expertise to support a remote healthcare payer client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring HealthRules Payer, with a strong emphasis on Benefits and Provider Configuration, along with BlueCard experience. This role requires collaboration with business and technical teams to configure, validate, and support healthcare benefit and provider solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain HealthRules Payer (HRP) components to support business and operational requirements.
- Perform configuration for Benefits, Provider, and related payer modules.
- Utilize BlueCard knowledge to support claims and benefit configuration requirements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable HRP configuration solutions.
- Participate in configuration design sessions and provide recommendations based on best practices.
- Validate configuration through testing and troubleshoot production issues when needed.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document configuration changes, processes, and technical specifications.
- Support implementation activities, defect resolution, and ongoing system enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with HealthRules Payer (HRP).
- Strong hands-on experience with HRP Benefits Configuration.
- Strong experience with HRP Provider Configuration.
- Experience supporting BlueCard configuration and related healthcare payer processes.
- Knowledge of healthcare payer operations, claims, benefits, and provider management.
- Experience interpreting business requirements and translating them into system configuration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) payer environments.
- Experience supporting healthcare implementations or system enhancements.
- Familiarity with testing, validation, and defect management processes.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and payer workflows.
Work Environment
- 100% Remote
- PST working hours preferred
- Collaborative, fast-paced healthcare payer project
