Python React Developer

London, UK - 5 days a week in office

Contract - Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python and React.js to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building microservices, REST APIs, cloud-native applications, and modern Front End solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and React.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and Back End services.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly Front End interfaces using React.js.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best coding practices.
• Work within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Required Skills

Backend

• Strong experience with Python
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• REST API and Microservices development
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• SQL and database design

Frontend

• Strong knowledge of React.js
• JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
• HTML5, CSS3
• Redux, React Hooks
• Responsive UI development

Databases

• PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server
• MongoDB (preferred)

Cloud & DevOps

• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines
• Git/GitHub/GitLab

Good to Have

• Financial Services or Banking domain experience
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
